BAM Construct & Ventures UK Ltd is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team at UCLan Whitehaven Campus. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance and completion of the appropriate paperwork and reports.

Your Key Responsibilities

  1. Carry out routine maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of electrical systems.
  2. Conduct thorough inspections and testing to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  3. Collaborate with other team members to achieve common goals and objectives.
  4. Oversee the work of visiting sub-contractors to ensure high standards of quality and safety.
  5. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
  6. Monitor and inspect sub-contractor works to ensure they meet contractual requirements.
  7. Manage services in accordance with contract specifications, using best commercial and industry practices.
  8. Implement and maintain Health and Safety, Quality, and Environmental requirements, ensuring compliance with all legislation and company policies.
  9. Maintain accurate records of statutory testing, inspections, and record keeping.

Requirements

  1. Experience in electrical/mechanical maintenance, testing, and fault finding on various equipment, including air conditioning, plumbing, boiler plant, ventilation, pumps, generators, switchgear, cables, batteries, small power, and lighting.
  2. Understanding of Service Level Agreements (SLAs), service targets, and objectives, as well as Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  3. Full UK driver's license.
  4. PASMA Certification, MEWP Certification, Electrical qualification, Legionella Training, and First Aid Training.
