Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our R&D Product Stewardship function. This critical role will be responsible for ensuring the compliance of our cosmetic products with local and international regulations, including ingredient safety, labeling, and packaging requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all cosmetic products comply with local and international regulations, including ingredient safety, labeling, and packaging requirements.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of compliance activities and prepare reports for regulatory bodies. Key documents include cosmetic Product Information File (PIF).
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments on new and existing products to identify potential compliance issues.
  • Expert Knowledge: Provide specialized knowledge of cosmetic regulations in different markets, ensuring the company stays ahead of regulatory changes and requirements.
  • Pack Labelling: Ensure all regulatory information on the finished product label is compliant with global cosmetic labelling regulations for different markets through the artwork approval process.
  • Consumer Safety: Play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficacy of products via appropriate application of Cosmetic Product Safety Reports (CPSR), consumer safety studies, and the Cosmetovigilance process.
  • External Relationships: Work with trade bodies, technical bodies, and regulatory authorities to produce official documentation and certification in line with specific requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Science, Engineering, Pharmacy, or a relevant discipline.
  • Regulatory experience in a similar role.
