The Recruitment Co is currently seeking an experienced Machine Operator / Line Setter to join an internationally recognised manufacturer in the Nutritional Supplement Industry.

Contract: Permanent

Salary: Line Setter 1: £26,404 / Line Setter 2: £28,457.52pa (inc shift allowance)

Hours of work: Full time, two shifts, Monday to Friday. Rotating between Mornings 6am - 2pm and Afternoons 2pm - 10pm.

Role Summary: The successful candidate will have at least 2 years experience in the Food or Pharmaceutical industry. They must be target driven, have drive and ambition, and will be required to work within a Cleanroom environment achieving work standards that meet with GMP, 5s, Quality and Health and Safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up/assemble production machines, including change overs.
  • Awareness of product quality requirements, highlighting any concerns or issues, challenging product standards.
  • Understanding of the basic operational processes within your working area, highlighting any Quality or Safety concerns.
  • Understanding and adherence to Quality and Safety regulations through SOP, i.e. HACCP, Pics, manual handling and general awareness of safety.
  • Ability to run/trained in a number of machines in the area (whole line equipment or 2/3 machines ZB/ZC).
  • Checking process on the line, as per training.
  • Checking line clearance and ensuring a safe working environment.
