Our client, a leading Oil and Gas company, is seeking a skilled Category Manager to join their team due to excellent growth and a surge in new contracts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
  • Develop a Category Strategy
  • Document all risks associated and update the department risk register
  • Ensure all savings and value are tracked through SAP ARIBA
  • Engage with 3rd party stakeholders and oversee stakeholder engagement
  • Influence stakeholders associated with the Category of spend
Requirements:
  • Relevant Technical/Business Degree
  • 7-10 years' worth of Purchasing experience in a related role (ideally IT)
  • Proven track record in Negotiation and supplier Relationship Management
  • ERP Systems Knowledge (SAP) and (SAP ARIBA)
  • Proven understanding of NAECI
