About the Role:

Fusion Lifestyle is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fitness Class Instructor to join our team. As a Fitness Class Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality group fitness classes to our members, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging group fitness classes, including Les Mills programs such as Body Pump and Body Balance
  • Provide options and realistic goals for participants, taking into account their individual needs and abilities
  • Collect and manage class registers to ensure effective bookings and attendance
  • Ensure the efficient operation of sessions, including equipment setup and take-down
  • Contribute to the development of safe and effective programming through innovative ideas and initiatives
  • Champion health and safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe environment for all participants
  • Undertake administrative tasks associated with the role, including maintaining records and reporting

Requirements:

  • REPS/CIMSPA level 2 qualified and registered
  • Relevant and specific qualification for your chosen discipline
  • Experience of delivering classes in a comparable role
  • Understanding of relevant health and safety legislation and the ability to exercise these in the workplace
  • Excellent communication skills, including listening, questioning, and delivering effective feedback
  • Ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve their goals
  • Good numerical and written skills
  • Ability to deliver first-class customer service to a diverse client base
