Job Title: Consultant Breast and Endocrine Surgeon

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Breast and Endocrine Surgeon to join our established Breast, Endocrine, Skin and Sarcoma Surgery Unit at University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a comprehensive breast and endocrine surgical service
  • Participate in the general on call rota is not required
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols
  • Provide expert clinical opinion within all aspects of Thyroid and Parathyroid Surgery
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with multidisciplinary teams

Requirements:

  • Full GMC Registration
  • FRCS or equivalent
  • Clinical training and experience equivalent to that required for gaining UK CCST in Endocrine Surgery at Specialist Registrar level
  • Ability to offer expert clinical opinion within all aspects of Breast Disease & Management

Desirable Criteria:

  • Endocrine Fellowship
  • Oncoplastic fellowship
  • Experience in performing reduction/therapeutic mammoplasty
  • Experience in the management of Surgical Adrenal Disease
