Job Title: Admission Avoidance Senior Physiotherapist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Admission Avoidance Senior Physiotherapist to join our team at University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive breast and endocrine surgical service, working closely with our established Breast, Endocrine, Skin and Sarcoma Surgery Unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a comprehensive breast and endocrine surgical service
  • Participate in the general on call rota is not required
  • Work closely with the established Breast, Endocrine, Skin and Sarcoma Surgery Unit

Person Specification:

  • Full GMC Registration
  • FRCS or equivalent

Desirable Criteria:

  • MD/MS or equivalent
  • Member of relevant Specialist Society

Experience:

  • Clinical training and experience equivalent to that required for gaining UK CCST in Endocrine Surgery at Specialist Registrar level
  • Ability to offer expert clinical opinion within all aspects of Thyroid and Parathyroid Surgery
  • Ability to demonstrate competence in parathyroid and thyroid surgery
  • Clinical training and experience equivalent to that required for gaining UK CCST in Breast Surgery at Specialist Registrar level
  • Ability to offer expert clinical opinion within all aspects of Breast Disease & Management
