We require motivated and experienced Electrical Testers to join our team. Your primary duties will involve conducting electrical testing and quality assessments on large generator sets. Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or automotive settings is highly beneficial, particularly in the assembly of mechanical components.

Ideal candidates will possess relevant qualifications and experience, ideally in a contemporary manufacturing or automotive context. A strong safety mindset, the ability to work independently, and a flexible approach are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with mechanical testing teams to ensure all quality and inspection protocols are executed to the highest standards.

2. Maintain all plant and electrical equipment to meet minimum legal requirements.

3. Uphold health and safety regulations at all times.

Approach to Job:

The successful candidate will be energetic, team-oriented, approachable, and hands-on, demonstrating a proactive attitude and the ability to inspire others to achieve set goals. The work environment is focused on manufacturing and plant operations, necessitating strong communication across departments. Active support on the factory floor will be required.

Experience & Education (Essential):

  • Qualification in Electrical Engineering or related discipline

  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics and instrumentation diagrams

Experience & Education (Desirable):

  • Engineering HNC or equivalent qualification
  • A minimum of 3 years relevant experience

Working Hours: Day shifts available, Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday, with start times between 0630 and 0730 (40 hours basic work week). Overtime opportunities are available.
