We are seeking a dedicated Weighbridge Security Officer to enhance our operations. This role offers a competitive pay rate of £13.66 per hour and is a full-time, permanent position requiring flexibility for day, night, and weekend shifts.
Eligibility: Candidates must be at least 18 years old to apply.
Your Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety and security of personnel, facilities, and assets while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Manage the gatehouse, welcoming staff and visitors with professionalism.
- Conduct necessary searches and monitor vehicle movements using a weighbridge system.
- Perform regular patrols of the premises, both inside and outside.
- Address any security incidents promptly and complete relevant documentation.
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will be over 18, possess strong communication skills, and be a collaborative team player committed to providing a friendly and professional service. Proficiency in IT is essential.
We encourage applicants with backgrounds in retail, travel, sales, recruitment, or hospitality, as these experiences can translate well into this role. Previous security experience and an SIA license are advantageous but not mandatory, as we offer comprehensive training for obtaining the SIA license.
