Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Project Coordinator to join our team at the Centre for Computing History. The successful candidate will play a critical role in overseeing our new project, Broken Tech : Broken Earth, which aims to explore the environmental impact of technology and promote sustainable practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Broken Earth Project, including working closely with stakeholders and monitoring progress.
  • Develop and implement strategies to raise awareness of environmental issues and e-waste, and to create change.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across various organizations to achieve project milestones.
  • Facilitate in-person and online events to engage with stakeholders and promote project goals.
Requirements
  • Strong interest in conservation, ecology, and promoting a circular economy.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and advocacy skills.
  • Confidence working with a range of colleagues across various organizations.
  • Proven organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience facilitating in-person and/or online events.
  • A creative, positive, proactive, and self-reliant approach to work.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of £26,728 p.a. pro-rata.
  • 22.5 hours per week, ideally worked across three days (Weds-Fri), with flexibility possible.
  • Annual leave entitlement of 28 days pro-rata, including bank holidays.
