About Bright Horizons UK:
Bright Horizons UK is a leading provider of high-quality early childhood education and care. Our nursery is committed to delivering outstanding care and education to children, and we are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team as a Nursery Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of nursery staff to deliver high-quality care and education to children
- Develop and implement effective strategies to drive employee engagement, retention, and performance
- Work closely with the Recruitment and HR team to ensure a diverse and skilled workforce
- Role model and mentor nursery staff to promote high-quality practice and continuous improvement
- Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead to ensure the safety and well-being of children
- Identify and develop succession plans to ensure the continued growth and success of the nursery
- Implement commercial plans to drive nursery growth and revenue generation
- Collaborate with local authorities to support the development of high-quality early childhood education and care
Requirements:
- Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
- Experience in Early Years leadership roles, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality care and education
- Experience in regulatory inspections, with a focus on achieving 'Good' or 'Outstanding' outcomes
- Strong knowledge of Safeguarding and Child Protection policies and procedures
- Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, parents, and partners
Preferred Qualifications:
- Confident decision-making skills
- Understanding of business and commerce principles, with a focus on service excellence
