Senior Process Development Scientist/Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Development Scientist/Engineer to join our team at MiAlgae. As a key member of our Research and Development department, you will play a critical role in the development and scale-up of new and existing products from the bench to commercial scale.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the development and scale-up of new and existing products, working closely with the Engineering and Quality departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver company objectives, utilizing expertise in bioprocess development to drive problem-solving activities.
- Plan, execute, and analyze laboratory and demonstration scale upstream and downstream processes, ensuring timely and high-quality results.
- Present and formally report experimental conclusions and supporting data for internal peer review, providing scientific and technical support to colleagues in the Production department.
- Lead the successful transfer of processes from laboratory-based R&D to commercial scale, identifying and prioritizing routes for development in response to market demand and scientific and technical advances.
- Proven track record of bringing new products to market and progressing development projects up the Technology Readiness scale.
- Technical experience with scale-up, process development, and optimization, with a focus on biotechnology and fermentation process development.
- Experience in coordinating scale-up projects with external contractors, both industrial and academic, and actively challenging and influencing projects and teams to drive results.
- Experience in line management, training, and supervision of technical staff.
