About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Property Manager to join our team on a fixed-term contract. As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing a portfolio of commercial units in Kent, ensuring that they are well-maintained and meet the needs of both tenants and property owners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing a portfolio of commercial units in Kent and introducing yourself to key contacts
  • Conducting regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintenance standards
  • Handling tenant inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional and timely manner
  • Collaborating with contractors and service providers to coordinate repairs and maintenance work
  • Overseeing lease agreements, including tenant screenings and lease renewals
  • Liaising with contractors, suppliers, and utilities companies, using your communications skills to engage at all levels
  • Dealing with emergencies in a calm and efficient manner
  • Overseeing a small maintenance team and allocating work
  • Reviewing lease agreements and contracts, staying on top of renewals and relevant schedules
  • Completing all associated administration; files, reports, plans, etc.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in property management or a related field
  • Knowledge of property laws, regulations, and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Attention to detail and a high level of professionalism
  • Valid driver's license
