Job Title: PSV Technician

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled PSV Technician to join our team at Red Sky Personnel. As a PSV Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient maintenance and repair of our buses within our depot.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting routine maintenance and repair tasks on PSVs to ensure they meet safety and performance standards.
  • Diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Performing regular inspections and servicing of PSVs to identify and address potential problems.
  • Collaborating with other team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
  • Adhering to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalent qualification within PSV or HGV Maintenance.
  • Possession of a PSV licence is considered advantageous.
  • Demonstrated diagnostic experience, particularly in identifying and resolving complex mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Previous experience as an HGV, PSV, or LCV Technician is highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions:

As a Technician, you will be responsible for assembling and maintaining various equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and excellent problem-solving skills. For the PSV Technician role, you will need to have prior PSV Technician experience working within a dealership or fleet maintenance environment.
