Job Summary:
As a Children's Home Registered Manager, you will be responsible for managing a new children's home that provides OFSTED regulated support and care for children and young people. The home is a 3-bedded children's home that specializes in supporting children and young people with EBD, LD, and challenging behaviors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, recruit, develop, and supervise the staff team to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support services.
- Work closely with the Regional Inspectorate (RI) to ensure the service is compliant with regulatory requirements and meets the home's statement of purpose.
- Monitor and manage any safeguarding concerns, ensuring the well-being and safety of the children and young people in the home's care.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the effective management of the home and the delivery of high-quality services.
- Collaborate with other stakeholders, including local authorities, healthcare providers, and other service providers, to ensure the seamless delivery of services and the best possible outcomes for the children and young people.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in children and young people.
- NVQ Level 5 in leadership and management.
- Proven experience in managing a children's home or a similar service, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality care and support services.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to deliver exceptional results.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders, including children, young people, families, and professionals.
