Healthcare Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team in the Women's Outpatients Department at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle.
Key Responsibilities- Assist qualified nurses in providing high-quality patient care, ensuring the well-being and dignity of patients at all times.
- Contribute to the work of the department by working under direct supervision in specialist clinics and indirect supervision for gynaecology clinics.
- Prepare notes for clinics and return after clinic, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Undertake clinical activities using appropriate equipment, including ECGs, Venepuncture, and processing histology samples, when trained and deemed competent.
- Contribute to housekeeping duties for the department, including ordering stock, putting stock away, cleaning duties, and general tidiness.
