Role Overview:
We are in search of a passionate and committed Social Studies Educator to become a part of our team.

The successful candidate will have a genuine enthusiasm for teaching and the ability to engage students across various Social Studies disciplines, including History, Geography, and Religious Studies.

This role is pivotal in providing high-quality education and aiding in the academic and personal growth of our students.


Key Duties:
1. Design, prepare, and deliver stimulating and effective lessons in Social Studies to students of diverse abilities.
2. Create and implement curriculum plans and lesson outlines in accordance with national standards and institutional policies.
3. Evaluate, track, and communicate student progress, offering regular feedback to students, guardians, and administrative staff.
4. Cultivate a welcoming and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes student involvement and enthusiasm.
5. Employ a range of teaching strategies and resources to accommodate various learning preferences and capabilities.
6. Engage in departmental meetings, training sessions, and professional growth opportunities.
7. Contribute to the broader school community through participation in extracurricular programs, school functions, and initiatives.
8. Stay informed about the latest educational practices and advancements in Social Studies instruction.

Qualifications and Skills:
1. A relevant degree in a Social Studies field (History, Geography, Religious Studies, etc.).
2. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
3. Demonstrated experience teaching Social Studies at the secondary education level.
4. Strong classroom management abilities and the capacity to foster a positive learning environment.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building effective relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
6. A dedication to ongoing professional development and a genuine passion for education.

Preferred Attributes:
1. Experience with examination preparation and assessment at the GCSE and A-Level.
2. Familiarity with contemporary educational technology and its application in teaching.
3. Involvement in extracurricular activities related to Social Studies.
