Our client operates intricate marine engineering systems, providing comprehensive engineering services, technology solutions, and training to both defense and civil sectors. The primary objective is to deliver infrastructure efficiently and cost-effectively. To achieve this, various initiatives and projects are undertaken, and Quest Global is expected to engage at multiple phases, including conducting studies, generating reports, and executing maintenance workflows.
Role Summary
The position requires a seasoned Marine/Structural Engineer to collaborate with the Technical Authority in defining engineering specifications for the ship caisson as an informed client. You will oversee and support the contractor throughout the design and construction phases of the caisson, with potential travel opportunities included.
Key Qualifications:
  • Experience in designing and validating steel structures according to Eurocodes.
  • Familiarity with welding specifications and inspection processes.
Preferred Experience:
  • Knowledge of Nuclear Safety Assurance.
  • Experience with pumping systems.
  • Understanding of seismic considerations.
Technical Knowledge:
  • Proficiency in Finite Element Analysis.
  • As part of the team, you will report directly to the Operation Support Manager within the Technical Authority, with project-specific reporting through the Design Manager.
