The University of Leeds is seeking a highly motivated and skilled researcher to join our team investigating premixed flame instability. This exciting opportunity will see you contribute to a cutting-edge project funded by the EPSRC, pushing the boundaries of combustion science.

Your Role:

  • Develop and implement advanced laser diagnostics techniques to analyze flame propagation and flow fields within our state-of-the-art Bradley Combustion Laboratory.
  • Contribute to the design and execution of experiments, collecting and analyzing data to advance our understanding of premixed flame instability under varying conditions.
  • Collaborate with a team of experienced researchers and engineers, sharing knowledge and contributing to a dynamic research environment.
  • Disseminate your findings through high-quality publications in reputable scientific journals.

Your Profile:

  • Hold a PhD or have completed your thesis in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
