Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our innovative team at The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust in Harlow, Essex. As a Band 5 Rotational Occupational Therapist, you will provide a high standard of assessment, advice, treatment, and evaluation of patients referred to the acute Inpatient Occupational Therapy Service.

Main Duties
  • Provide an Occupational Therapy Service for Acute Inpatients at Princess Alexandra Hospital.
  • Take responsibility for a specified caseload undertaking assessment, treatment, and evaluation of patients referred to the service.
  • Work as part of a Multi-disciplinary/Agency team.
  • Work as an autonomous professional according to College of Occupational Therapy 'Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct' and the 'Health Professions Council Regulations'.
  • Actively participate in Continuing Professional Development and contribute to the development of in-service training.
