Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Director to lead our quality function and drive continuous improvement across the business. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and that our customers receive the best possible service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and enhance the Business Quality Management System to meet all regulatory and customer requirements.
- Drive the deployment of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Defect Prevention Tools across the business.
- Oversee the planning, preparation, and execution of 3rd Party Audits (e.g., Manage Internal Audit and Compliance Monitoring programs).
- Serve as the primary Quality lead and interface for all customer-related Quality matters.
- Establish and embed Supplier Quality targets, ensuring continuous improvement in Supplier performance and reducing the cost of non-conformance.
Requirements:
- Previous Quality Management experience in a precision engineering company that supplies into the Aerospace industry.
- Proven track record of delivering results in a similar role.
- In-depth understanding of quality standards and knowledge of Quality Management Systems with the ability to maintain and improve.
- Willingness to be involved in the day-to-day quality team as well as having the foresight to delegate where necessary.
