Middle Grade Registrar for Gastroenterology Support

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is seeking a Middle Grade Registrar to support the Gastroenterology Team at Wrexham Maelor Hospital.
Main DutiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Admitting acute medical patients and providing gastroenterology opinion to other specialties under supervision of the gastroenterology consultant.
- Participating in outpatient gastroenterology clinics and endoscopy training sessions.
- Teaching and supervising junior medical staff.
- Contributing to the development of the gastroenterology service through audit and quality improvement projects.
This is a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals and contribute to the development of the gastroenterology service.
RequirementsTo be considered for this role, applicants must have:
- MRCP Part 1 and Part 2 written PACES.
- Valid ALS certification.
- At least 2 years of experience in general medicine at SHO level, signed off to CMT level.
