About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT Support Specialist to join our team at QA. As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and providing exceptional support to our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide first-line technical support to employees through our IT service desk ticketing system
  • Liaise with colleagues to provide updates on queries or projects
  • Onboard new starters and ensure a seamless transition into the company
  • Manage and maintain our network and systems, including Office 365 and Outlook
  • Monitor and maintain the company's digital access fob and clocking in and out system
  • Work with the QA Group to ensure all protocols are adhered to
  • Check backups and antiviruses are up-to-date
  • Field queries from staff regarding potential spam emails or system issues
Requirements
  • Good understanding of troubleshooting skills and networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, and WINS
  • Knowledge of Android and iOS smartphones
  • PC hardware components and building/repairing PCs
  • Understanding of backups and disaster recovery systems
  • Interest in IT and IT security, including hobbies and/or education within IT
  • Have a 'can-do' attitude and be confident to ask for help and guidance
