Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team at one of the world's leading manufacturers of construction based products. With over 150 years of manufacturing experience, our company has a global reputation for excellence in our marketplace.

The Role

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for working on PPM schedules, maintaining a high level of health and safety awareness, and implementing process improvements on site. You will be involved in a variety of projects and will have the opportunity to progress into larger roles within our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of plant and equipment
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with business objectives
  • Develop and maintain a high level of health and safety awareness to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements
  • Apprentice-trained engineer with experience in mechanical or electrical engineering
  • Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and other automated plant machinery
  • Understanding of PPM systems and health and safety procedures
