Job Overview

2M Legal - Executive Search is seeking a highly skilled Legal Assistant to join our client's Wills and Inheritance Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the probate process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and management of wills, probate, and trust documents
  • Provide administrative support to the Wills and Inheritance Team, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of case management software and Microsoft Office applications
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to resolve queries and issues

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Legal Secretary or Legal Assistant in a Wills and Probate team
  • Strong understanding of Wills, Probate, Trusts, and Lasting Power of Attorney
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills, with attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
