Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Transport Planner to join our team at 365 People. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics and transportation processes.

Reporting Structure:
Reports directly to the Transport Manager.

Location:
Based at Magna Park, Lutterworth.

Working Hours:
Shift from 14:00 to 22:30 with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

Compensation:
Salary up to £30,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:
Your primary duties will include, but are not limited to:
1. Managing various Excel spreadsheets to ensure accurate data entry.
2. Providing administrative support within the transport planning and customer service sectors.
3. Verifying delivery driver documentation and related paperwork.
4. Conducting vehicle inspections and checks.
5. Scheduling collections and deliveries.
6. Sourcing quotes from third-party transport providers.
7. Updating the internal operating system with relevant information.
8. Assisting the Transport Manager with a variety of tasks.

Required Skills:
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
1. Proficient IT skills, particularly in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
2. Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
3. A keen eye for detail and accuracy in data handling.
4. Flexibility to adapt to varying processes and tasks.
5. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
6. Familiarity with EU driver's hours regulations and Working Time Directive (WTD).

Qualifications:
1. GCSEs in English and Mathematics or equivalent qualifications.
2. An NVQ in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
3. IT GCSE or equivalent certification.
