We are thrilled to present a new opportunity at Edinburgh Airport for the position of Immigration Host.

The primary objective of this role is to assist and direct all incoming travelers to present themselves to the UK Border in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately record queue times in the daily report. Assist and guide all arriving passengers to ensure they are processed through the appropriate channel based on their documentation or last departure point.
  • Support eligible travelers at the electronic passport gates or direct them to the referrals desk for those who are unable to use the E passport gates.
  • Identify and assist passengers requiring help through the Assistance Lane to ensure they are processed by the relevant UK Border Force Officer.
  • Continuously monitor the E passport gates, ensuring they are attended at all times.
  • Manage the barriers in the uni-feed, ensuring they are operated at the correct times to maintain a smooth flow within the queuing system.
  • Assist the Team Leader with any operational decisions or changes that may arise.
  • Provide constructive feedback on operational challenges and processes to enhance performance. Ensure proper maintenance and allocation of provided equipment.
  • Exhibit flexibility with shift patterns according to business requirements.
  • Document queue times on the designated report.
