About the Role

The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of national and international clients, demonstrating a global mindset and cross-cultural competence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of client and customer goals, developing the ability to anticipate needs.
  • Pro-actively service, support, and provide customers with improvement opportunities to increase income, maximize attrition, and meet Company strategic objectives.
  • Assist in the implementation of new customers and develop relationships that reflect positively on the Company.
  • Assist with new business implementations and sales department.
  • Adept at navigating complex business needs and effectively driving growth.
  • Awareness of cultural differences, with an ability to adapt style as required across our global footprint.
  • Manage account Management Reviews, including Account development and improvement plans.
  • Responsible for contract and service level agreement creation, fee reviews & monitoring of performance.
  • Develop and provide data analysis and reporting.
  • Facilitate and manage product demonstrations.
  • Manage and update information in any client database the company may apply.
  • Review and propose updates to the travel policy, including consultation and compliance monitoring.
  • Matrix management, connecting the customer and Travel at all levels within each business.
  • Manage attrition in line with the business KPIs.
  • Attend events on behalf of the Company.
  • Commitment to continual personal development, ensuring market, industry, and competitor knowledge is exemplary.

Candidate Requirements

Essential

  • Degree level educated in a related discipline or equivalent experience in account management.
  • Extensive experience in account management, preferably with global or multi-national customers.
  • Extensive experience working with senior level decision makers.
  • Demonstrable experience in project management.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to process complex information.
  • Strategic thinker.
  • Extensive experience with MS office packages.
