Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with a variety of long-term health conditions
  • Conduct venepuncture, blood pressure checks, ECGs, and other medical procedures
  • Deliver health promotion and education to patients, including childhood and adult immunisations
  • Manage wounds, provide contraception services, and conduct cervical screening
  • Work collaboratively with the wider team to deliver excellent nursing care and maximise practice income

Requirements:

  • Registered with the NMC
  • Degree in Nursing
  • Substantial practice nurse experience
  • Evidence of ongoing CPD
  • Minimum of 1 Long Term Condition diploma
  • Knowledge of patients with long-term conditions
  • Familiarity with Patient Group Directions (PGDs) and associated policy
  • Ability to produce accurate, contemporaneous, and complete records
