This role is designed for individuals who thrive in a dynamic environment, with responsibilities split between approximately 70% project involvement and 30% handling escalated support queries.

As a 3rd Line Support Engineer, you will be instrumental in delivering high-level technical assistance and innovative solutions to our clientele. Your expertise will be vital in addressing intricate IT challenges, enhancing and managing infrastructure, and ensuring the seamless operation of client IT systems. Proficiency in Azure, Office 365, and Networking, including routers, switches, and VLANs, is essential for this role.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver advanced support and troubleshooting for escalated IT incidents.
  • Oversee and maintain cloud infrastructures, focusing on Microsoft Azure.
  • Administer Office 365 environments, including Exchange, SharePoint, and Teams.
  • Design, configure, and manage network systems, including routers, switches, and VLANs.
  • Collaborate effectively with 1st and 2nd line support teams to resolve technical challenges.
  • Implement and uphold security best practices across all IT platforms.
  • Conduct regular system monitoring, maintenance, and optimization tasks.
  • Document technical processes, configurations, and solutions comprehensively.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of IT projects.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in a 3rd Line Support Engineer capacity or equivalent.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Azure, including virtual machine management, networking, and security protocols.
  • Extensive experience in Office 365 administration and troubleshooting.
  • Thorough understanding of networking technologies, including routers, switches, and VLANs.
  • Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, and network security best practices.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Certification in any relevant area.
