We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Reliability Engineer to join our team at The Engineer. As a key member of our engineering capability, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and maintainability of our platforms and systems.
Key Responsibilities- Reliability and Maintainability Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis and engineering tasks to influence the design and future sustainment of platforms and systems, ensuring they are inherently supportable in their intended use.
- Engineering Collaboration: Contribute to the relationship between engineering capability teams and engineering central function to influence current and longer-term skills, processes, and tools needed for R, M & T engineering on next-generation platforms.
- Technical Representation: Represent the Supportability Engineering team at broader technical reviews, integration activities, and planning events.
- Technical Guidance and Support: Provide technical R, M & T engineering guidance, advice, mentoring, and support to junior or less experienced engineers in the team.
- Alignment and Integration: Contribute to ensuring alignment between reliability and maintainability engineering, safety engineering, and human factors engineering in reliability analysis activities.
- Education and Qualifications: Degree qualified in a relevant engineering field or demonstrable professional experience working in a relevant engineering role.
- Reliability Engineering Knowledge: Knowledge of the principles of Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Testability.
- Tools and Techniques: Experience of applying at least several of the following R, M & T engineering tools, techniques, and approaches on complex programs: Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), R, M & T Allocation, Prediction, and Modeling of complex systems, and Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM).
- Standards and Specifications: Knowledge and experience in applying international and/or military standards and specifications relevant to Reliability engineering.
- IT Skills: Good IT skills, including MS Office, and experience working with digital engineering tools.
- Leadership and Management: Proven leadership and management experience.
