Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled BIM Project Lead to join our team at ClickJobs. As a key member of our BIM team, you will be responsible for managing the MEP design coordination on multiple large-scale projects throughout the UK, Ireland, and Europe.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Delivery Strategy: Collaborate with the BIM Manager to develop and refine the overall BIM strategy and delivery programme for the project.
  2. BIM Execution Plan (BEP) Onboarding: Understand the project specific BIM execution plan.
  3. Team Management: Manage and schedule the project deliverables for all BIM team members.
  4. Resource Allocation: Coordinate with the BIM Manager to ensure that the necessary BIM team members are assigned to lead projects.
  5. Project Reporting: Establish clear communication channels and provide regular project reporting.
  6. Project Modelling: Lead the creation of BIM models, especially intricate or critical portions.
  7. Design Management: Supervise the BIM team in the creation and management of project design models and drawings.
  8. Clash Detection & Resolution: Utilize BIM software tools to identify clashes and coordinate resolutions.
  9. Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance protocols for BIM models and associated drawings.
  10. Document Control: Ensure that all BIM related documentation is meticulously maintained.
  11. Internal Coordination Meetings: Host BIM coordination meetings with relevant project team members.
  12. Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary BIM contact in attendance to BIM project meetings.
  13. Performance Monitoring: Track and evaluate the performance of team members.
  14. Professional Development: Identify training needs within the team.
  15. Integration with Other Software: Understand and integrate BIM project processes with other software tools.
  16. BIM Integration: Oversee the integration of time, cost, and facility management data into BIM models.
Requirements
  1. Minimum 5 years experience within a BIM coordination role delivering large commercial MEP projects.
  2. Full UK Driving License.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. A relevant third level education in building services, architectural engineering or construction.
  2. Proficient in Microsoft Office Packages.
