Senior Planner Job Description

VINCI Building is seeking a highly skilled Senior Planner to support our teams and projects across the North East region.

As a Senior Planner, you will play a crucial role in providing robust planning support at pre-construction stages, developing tender programmes for submission documents, and collaborating closely with our supply chain partners to develop good quality logical programmes and associated work for projects on site.

You will be instrumental in planning resources for projects (often in live environments) in collaboration with other members of the project and supply chain, as well as project resource requirements for future workloads. Your experience in identifying complex project issues early will enable you to reduce the impact on working programmes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the preconstruction planning process, including project scheduling, resource planning, and identifying critical milestones.
  • Develop detailed project programmes and schedules using industry-leading planning software.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, recommending contingency plans as needed.

About VINCI Building

VINCI Building delivers new build, refurbishment, and associated fitout works, with particular expertise in the education, healthcare, industrial, air, retail, commercial, and mixed-use sectors. We operate from our network of offices throughout England and Wales, blending our corporate stability with the local knowledge our teams offer.

We value diversity and inclusion, and our Fairness, Inclusion and Respect (FIR) policy recognises and celebrates each other's differences. We also offer flexible working arrangements to help our employees balance their work and home life.
