Join our Partner Management team, which encompasses four key areas: Vendor Management, Sourcing, Procurement, and Telecommunication. This position primarily concentrates on Sourcing.

Sourcing entails identifying the products or services required for Computacenter's operations. This includes assessing needs, selecting optimal suppliers, onboarding them, and managing contracts and commercial agreements before they transition to our Internal Vendor Management team.

Responsibilities

Throughout your apprenticeship, you will pursue a Business Administration Level 3 qualification. During this period, approximately 80% of your time will be dedicated to practical work, while 20% will focus on your studies.

Your support will include the following tasks:

Maintain Records: Ensure accurate documentation of sourcing activities, contracts, and agreements. Regularly refresh the Partner Management Teams site. Generate Reports: Utilize business tools to compile data and produce reports on supplier performance and cost efficiencies. Organize Schedules: Coordinate and prioritize work schedules, including setting up sourcing meetings. Identify Improvements: Analyze data to propose enhancements to sourcing processes and identify cost-saving opportunities. Collaborate in Teams: Work alongside small teams to accomplish tasks and ensure compliance with budgetary and company standards.

Requirements

A minimum of 2 GCSEs, including both Maths and English Language at grade 4/C or above. Proficient in Microsoft Applications. Previous customer service experience is advantageous. Strong administrative skills with a keen attention to detail. Demonstrated analytical skills for problem-solving. Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Please note that successful candidates will be subject to additional eligibility checks with our training provider, which will include assessments in Maths and English, as well as a review of any prior qualifications. Due to funding stipulations for the apprenticeship, applicants must not already possess a Business Administration Level 3 standard, GNVQ, BTEC, or equivalent qualification to qualify for this program.
