Job Description

Altrad UK, Ireland & Nordics has a long-term opportunity for a Project Manager to join their team in the pharmaceutical industry. The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of pharmaceutical process equipment and containment, including Filter Driers, gloveboxes, containment, and transfer systems.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in a mechanical/electrical engineering pharmaceutical EPC environment with a project portfolio management background. They will have the ability to manage projects from handover, define baseline scope, programs, and allowances, as well as procedures for managing requests for change to allowances/budgets in advance of the Project Execution Plan issue.

The Project Manager will be responsible for executing multi-disciplined EPC projects from inception through completion, specifically based around manufacturing process equipment and containment. They will have a proven track record in the role or supporting project role and will be backed by a minimum HNC/HND in a related engineering discipline.

The successful candidate will have strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage external equipment and services suppliers and contractors. They will be a key member of the Altrad UK, Ireland & Nordics team, working closely with colleagues to deliver projects that meet the company's high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects from handover to completion
  • Define baseline scope, programs, and allowances
  • Manage requests for change to allowances/budgets
  • Execute multi-disciplined EPC projects
  • Manage external equipment and services suppliers and contractors

Requirements:

  • Minimum HNC/HND in a related engineering discipline
  • Significant experience in a mechanical/electrical engineering pharmaceutical EPC environment
