About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and growing manufacturing business based in the North West of England. As an experienced Accounts Assistant, you will play a key role in the finance team, working closely with the management to ensure the smooth operation of the company's financial functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the accounts department on a day-to-day basis, maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records using Sage and other software.
  • Record day-to-day financial transactions, reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and accounts, and prepare financial reports.
  • Assist with general office administration, providing support to the team as needed.
Requirements
  • Enthusiastic and positive attitude, with excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with the team.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience with Sage software.
  • AAT qualification or equivalent certificate in accounting, with at least 3 years of proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
