Mechanical Process Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Process Engineer to join our Engineering & Manufacturing department. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving industrial process improvements and implementing innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify areas for improvement through data collection and analysis, focusing on safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Apply expertise in continuous improvement and engineering to eliminate losses and optimize processes.
  • Coach and train employees to embed solutions into the process, ensuring seamless integration.
  • Lead and manage projects for the Production Department, utilizing on-site resources for successful completion.
  • Communicate project status with teams and site stakeholders.
  • Develop and upskill process knowledge and capabilities of Shift Leaders and their teams, aligned with loss elimination data.
  • Promote a culture of effective cross-functional teamwork to improve plant performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead and organize production downtime planning process with relevant teams.
  • Monitor and analyze data to ensure KPIs are maintained at agreed levels.
Requirements:
  1. A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  2. Strong knowledge of industrial manufacturing processes.
  3. Proficiency in using engineering software.
