About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered Midwife to join our team as an Advanced Midwifery Practitioner. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your leadership and management skills, while continuing to provide high-quality midwifery care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide full range of midwifery care to patients, including antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care.
  • Develop and implement plans to enhance midwifery practice and improve patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to midwifery care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the evaluation of midwifery services.
Requirements
  • Registered Midwife with current registration with the NMC.
  • Band 6 experience and qualifications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Full, clean UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Community experience and knowledge of community midwifery services.
  • NIPE examiner qualification.
  • Further qualifications in midwifery or a related field.
  • Mentorship qualification.
