About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Information Security and Risk Management Lead to join our team at Starling Bank. As a key member of our Information Security team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our Information Security strategy, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Information Security Analysts to ensure the effective management of Information Security risks and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement Information Security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the protection of our systems and data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate Information Security risks, and ensure the implementation of effective controls to prevent security breaches.
  • Provide guidance and support to the business on Information Security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies, and recommend changes to our Information Security strategy as needed.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar role, leading the development and implementation of Information Security strategies and policies.
  • Strong understanding of Information Security best practices, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to analyze complex security risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Strong technical skills, with experience in security technologies and tools.
