Key Responsibilities:

  • Comprehensive Recruitment: Manage the complete internal hiring process from initiation to conclusion.
  • Talent Development: Partner with hiring leaders, offering expert counsel and insights on optimal practices in talent development and recruitment.
  • Compliance Assistance: Collaborate closely with the HR team to facilitate compliance activities related to the Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SMCR).
  • Process Oversight: Ensure HR processes and protocols are in accordance with current regulations.
  • Employee Relations Support: Provide assistance with employee relations issues as required.
  • Engagement Programs: Contribute to employee engagement and wellness initiatives.
  • Induction Support: Aid in the induction processes for new hires.
  • Onboarding and Offboarding Management: Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes for all personnel.
  • HRIS Expertise: Become a primary user of the new Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and ensure records are maintained accurately.
  • Data Reporting: Create reports utilizing the HRIS.
  • Inquiry Management: Address general inquiries via the HR inbox, delivering timely and practical guidance to managers and staff.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Professional Experience: A minimum of 2+ years' experience in an HR-related capacity within the financial services sector.
  • Regulatory Acumen: Essential understanding of SMCR.
  • HRIS Competence: Proficient in utilizing HRIS.
  • Employment Legislation Knowledge: Strong grasp of employment law within an HR context.
