Pertemps Kidderminster is seeking a Receptionist to provide coverage during holiday periods for our client. The ideal candidate will possess prior experience in an office setting, demonstrate confidence in handling phone communications, and have a foundational understanding of essential computer applications (such as Word and Excel).
Key Responsibilities of a Receptionist:
- Welcome and greet visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
- Manage incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain the reception area, ensuring it is organized and welcoming.
- Sort and distribute daily mail and packages.
- Offer general administrative assistance, including photocopying, filing, and data entry tasks.
- Coordinate and manage appointments for meetings.
Qualifications for a Receptionist:
- Previous experience in a receptionist or client-facing role is advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Competence in operating office equipment and basic computer programs.
- Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- A positive and friendly demeanor, with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to manage confidential information with care.
- Flexibility to cover for holidays and unexpected absences.
