Head of Supply Chain Management

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head of Supply Chain Management to join our team at Aviva. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to optimize our supply chain operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products and services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
  • Lead a team of procurement professionals to negotiate contracts with suppliers, manage supplier relationships, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in supply chain management, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement laws and regulations, including GDPR and anti-bribery legislation.
What We Offer:
  • National salary circa £100,000, London salary circa £120,000, depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
  • Bonus opportunity - 25% of annual salary, actual amount depends on performance and Aviva's.
