Quality Assurance Engineer Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at Hudson Shribman. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Management:

    • Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
    • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Supplier Quality:

    • Manage supplier relationships to ensure the quality of components and materials.
    • Conduct supplier audits and assessments to evaluate their quality management systems.
  • Equipment Quality:

    • Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated to ensure accurate and reliable results.
    • Investigate and resolve equipment-related quality issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

    • Develop and track KPIs to measure the effectiveness of the quality management system.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, quality assurance, or a related field.
    • Proven experience in quality assurance and control, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Skills and Qualifications:

    • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, including ISO 9001.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
