Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Head of Operations to join our team at Supply Talent. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned operations professional to lead and manage a medium-sized team, overseeing all operational functions, from supplier management through to last-mile delivery.

This role will be based in a hybrid working environment, with opportunities for travel to regional hubs. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Leadership: Oversee end-to-end operations, including supplier management, inbound logistics, and final-mile delivery, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a growing team of operations professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent quality, cost-effectiveness, and availability.
  • Expansion: Support the company's growth strategy, ensuring operational readiness for entry into new areas and markets.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously review and optimize processes to drive efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
  • Strategy: Work closely with the leadership team to define and implement the long-term operational strategy aligned with the company's growth objectives.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data analytics to monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and make informed decisions for process enhancements.

The ideal candidate will have:
