Our Building Services division excels in providing comprehensive Facilities Management across the UK, offering mechanical and electrical engineering support, as well as cleaning, catering, and grounds maintenance services. We leverage advanced technological solutions to optimize our operational efficiency.

We are currently in search of a Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer to support our Commercial Property Maintenance team. This role involves servicing commercial properties across designated areas.

All necessary tools and materials will be supplied on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and routine maintenance, including response and fault analysis.
  • Execute fault detection and equipment adjustments, ensuring thorough inspection of electrical and mechanical services, systems, and completing maintenance tasks as per contract specifications.
  • Undertake various duties requiring multi-skilled expertise, such as re-lamping fixtures, troubleshooting electrical wiring systems, motors, generators, lighting systems, chillers, and air handling units, as well as maintaining drainage systems and inspecting and repairing all mechanical and electrical systems.
  • When necessary, address reactive maintenance and additional work requirements while adhering to established engineering standards and safety regulations.
  • Follow and comply with the procedures outlined in the company's Health & Safety Policies and statutory obligations, contributing to a safe working environment.
  • Ensure that daily work sheets and maintenance records are accurately completed and submitted promptly.
  • Participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Possession of Electrical City & Guilds, Part 1 and 2 or equivalent qualifications, along with experience in Building Management Systems (BMS) and multi-skilled capabilities.
  • Health & Safety IOSH Working Safely certification or a similar qualification.
  • Proven experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong time management abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
