About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy General Manager to join our team at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the operational management of our services, ensuring that we deliver high-quality patient care and meet our strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with operational and senior management teams.
  • Develop and implement operational plans to improve service delivery and patient outcomes.
  • Monitor and analyze performance data to inform decision-making and drive improvement.
  • Provide regular progress reports to the Divisional Management Board and other stakeholders.
  • Manage and develop a team of administrative and reception staff to ensure excellent customer service and support.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in operational management and leadership within a healthcare setting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and information.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate others.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • GCSE English and Maths to C grade or higher.
