Position Title: Reach Truck Driver

Shift Schedule: Rotational Shifts
- Week 1: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
- Week 2: 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Compensation: £12.30 - £13.81 per hour
Contract Type: Ongoing with potential for permanent placement
Overview: We are looking for a dependable and skilled Reach Truck Driver to assist in our warehouse activities. This position requires considerable physical effort, including heavy lifting and manual handling, making physical fitness and endurance crucial for success. The ideal candidate will be flexible and able to adapt to a rotational shift schedule to meet operational needs.
Key Duties:
- Forklift Operation: Efficiently operate reach trucks to transport, stack, and retrieve inventory within the warehouse.
- Manual Handling: Perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks, including loading and unloading items by hand.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all health and safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment for yourself and your coworkers.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with fellow warehouse staff to ensure smooth and effective operations.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience as a Reach Truck Driver with a valid reach truck certification.
- Physical Capability: Ability to regularly engage in heavy lifting and manual tasks.
- Shift Availability: Willingness to work a rotational shift schedule, including early mornings and late afternoons.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on detail and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Work Ethic: Dependable, punctual, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
