London, Greater London, United Kingdom Swift Full time

About the Role

Company Overview

The Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (Swift) is a prominent global cooperative and the foremost provider of secure financial messaging solutions. Our comprehensive messaging platform, products, and services facilitate connections among over 11,000 banking and securities entities, market infrastructures, and corporate clients across more than 200 nations.

We empower our worldwide user community to communicate securely, exchanging standardized financial messages reliably. By enabling both global and local financial transactions, we support trade and commerce on a global scale. As a trusted partner, we are committed to operational excellence, continuously striving to reduce costs, mitigate risks, and eliminate inefficiencies. Swift also fosters collaboration within the financial community to shape market practices, establish standards, and discuss shared concerns.

Join our Corporates team in London, UK, as an engaged and proactive Pilot Manager.

The mission of this group is to streamline corporate treasury payments and cash management by delivering standardized solutions through the introduction of ISO 20022 capabilities and facilitating easy access to Swift's ready-made services. This is achieved by assisting banks in providing this value to corporate clients seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be instrumental in overseeing the pilot phase for new features and services tailored for corporates, their technology partners, and banks. Your role will involve supporting pilots during implementation, coordinating testing phases that begin with payment initiation and tracking, monitoring and reporting on pilot progress, identifying risks, and managing them effectively. Provide guidance to the corporate community on Swift with their banking partners (SCORE) regarding the utilization of new workflows (readiness & adoption). Formulate plans for wave 2 testing as additional customers prepare for implementation as early adopters. Manage subsequent pilot phases as new features become available. Support the migration strategy to enable existing users to adopt the latest functionalities. Ensure a consistent end-to-end customer journey, from initial interest through to live support. Assist in initiatives aimed at simplifying and scaling onboarding capabilities for general availability.

As the ideal candidate, you are actively engaged, well-versed in market trends, and possess robust project management skills. You collaborate with various teams to successfully deliver features. In this role, you will interact with customers and vendor communities, adopting a customer/vendor-focused approach and acting as the liaison between them and Swift. You will work closely with other product managers and internal teams to lead all aspects of customer pilots or early adoption phases and engagement programs. Furthermore, you will cultivate empathy and advocate for our customers/vendors through participation and facilitation of design activities. You will leverage business analytics tools to measure success, adoption, present opportunities, and support informed decision-making.

Qualifications:

A university degree in Business or Technical Engineering, Financial Services, or equivalent experience is acceptable. A minimum of 5 years in marketing or product management within the financial services sector. Exceptional communication and relationship management skills, with a focus on delivering quality service to clients. Proficient in effective communication (verbal & written) with all organizational levels on both technical and business concepts. Fluent in English (spoken and written). Demonstrated ability to foster teamwork across various departments. Self-motivated, empowered to drive, adapt, and respond to change. Capable of working under pressure and as part of a multicultural team. Seeking an open-minded individual who thrives on collaboration and finding practical solutions through partnership. Innovative, curious, and eager to continuously enhance relevant technological skills.
