Lead Parliamentary Clerk

As a Senior Clerk within the Committee/Chamber Office, you will play a pivotal role in the operations of the Scottish Parliament. This position offers a hybrid working model, allowing you to balance your time between home and the Parliament.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Members of the Scottish Parliament in their inquiries and debates on significant issues affecting Scotland.
- Assist in the development of new legislation and hold the Scottish Government accountable.
- Communicate complex political information clearly and effectively.
- Conduct research on current political matters and gather evidence to support parliamentary activities.
- Provide procedural and protocol advice to Members of the Scottish Parliament.
- Engage with the public to ensure their voices are represented in parliamentary discussions.
Qualifications:
