Graduate Opportunity in Psychology - SEMH Needs

We are seeking a recent Psychology graduate with an interest in working with students who have a range of learning and behavioural needs. This is an ideal opportunity for an aspiring educational psychologist, youth justice worker, prison liaison officer, or behaviour mentor, among other career pathways.

The opportunity:

This is an ideal opportunity for you to gain quality, first-hand experience in a specialist school environment. You will have the opportunity to work with SEMH needs, Autism, and students with moderate to complex needs that will also require support with personal care. The schools we work with will be closely matched to your skills, interests, and career aspirations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Enabling students with a range of additional learning and behavioural needs to access the best education they can, setting them up with objectives for when they leave school.
  2. Working closely with art, occupational, and speech and language therapists to implement a holistic, restorative approach to learning and behaviour management.
  3. Positive reinforcement and confidence building.
  4. Working in a classroom setting and providing 1:1 support outside of the class.
  5. Fantastic CPD provided by teachers and tutors, ideal if you're planning on starting an MSc in the future.
  6. You will be working with like-minded Psychology Graduates with similar objectives.

What We Offer:
